George Carlin was the fucking man.  Religion, on the other hand, is the biggest fucking scam ever allowed to remain unabated.

What will the world be like without the beacon of glaring honesty that George Carlin was?  Will we succumb to the bullshit and become ever more satisfied with the mediocre, the mundane, the bullshit lies that are all around us?  When are we going to realize that when he spoke in humor, he was actually taking large steps to make us think about the world we are in, and make us think about how the ‘Authority’ of this country was really god damn retarded.

He may have laced words like fuck, shit, tits, motherfucker, and all other kinds in his deliveries, but he also speared the more mundane sayings that have double meanings, he was a master of vocabulary and the abuse of it, showing its flaws and our flaws too.  When he was fired in 2004 from the Las Vegas Hotel he was working at, it was because someone heckled him a little, and he told the audience the truth.  They were all idiots. Why?  They paid money to go to a place to freely give corporations money.  That is very, very stupid.  They let him go on the spot after that.

Sometimes the truth hurts, and thats why he pointed out how the truth is better.  In his acts and routines he constantly attacked the bullshit that is said to make people happy.  The little lies in conversations, the bullshit said to keep people happy.  Of course then he showed us the right way (his) to handle the situation.  Brutal sardonic honesty.

Wouldn’t it be great if our politicians did that?  Other than Ron Paul.  What if Bush came out one day and said the truth about the war, or Bill came out and said how he really felt about his wife?  Think of the brutal language they could use.  To see that day, that would be the pinnacle of achievement in my opinion.

Imagine mothers showing their kids (one of the things Carlin lampooned much) and you being able to say “Holy fuck that’s and ugly motherfucker, kill it with fire!” without getting arrested.  “How does my dress look” “Like shit, go get a box and live in it”.  “Does this make me look fat?” “Fuck you, you overweight whale”.  Or telling anorexics they look a little large around the corners.

Who will fill this brutally honest void?  Ashton Kutcher?  Fuck him, too goddamn moronic in my esteemed opinion.  Dane Cook?  Fuck Dane Cook, goddamn retard, again in my esteemed opinion.  Cher?  Why the fuck would you think Cher, you some kind of inbred moronic fuck?  Richard Pryor is dead… can’t use him, although he would work fine.  I don’t see a single fucking person alive today that could do what Carlin did, except maybe Don Rickles, if he went off the deep end one day.  He’s 82.

In closing, I see this country getting worse now, there is no more voice against bullshit and against bullshit reason, there is no more voice against the powers that be that run this country (into the fucking ground) and there is no new comedian worthy of taking his place.  They all try to be trendy, pretenders, lifters, and plagiarists.  Where are the political comedians who actually know what the fuck they are talking about?  The last one died two days ago.  That’s where.

Fuck me if we couldn’t have used Carlin more now than ever.

Legendary comedian George Carlin, died of heart failure in a Los Angeles hospital on Sunday.  Carlin was admitted to the hospital early Sunday afternoon after experiencing chest pains.  Reuters reports:

Comedian George Carlin, a counter-culture hero famed for his routines about drugs and dirty words, died of heart failure at a Los Angeles-area hospital on Sunday, a spokesman said. He was 71.

Carlin, who had a history of heart and drug-dependency problems, died at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica about 6 p.m. PDT (9 p.m. EDT) after being admitted earlier in the afternoon for chest pains, spokesman Jeff Abraham told Reuters.

Known for his edgy, provocative material, Carlin achieved status as an anti-Establishment icon in the 1970s with stand-up bits full of drug references and a routine called “Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television.” A regulatory battle over a radio broadcast of the routine ultimately reached the U.S. Supreme Court.
